Scholarships and Internships

Crop & Soil Science students have the opportunity to receive scholarships from the Crop and Soil Science Department and from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Scholarships are limited and competition is usually among those with a grade point average over 3.0 and who have shown leadership skills in the Agronomy Club and elsewhere. These scholarships include: Georgia Crop Improvement Association, Georgia Plant Food Edu cational Society; J. Fielding Reed Scholarship; Georgia Seedsmen's Association Roy C. Jones Scholarship; Southern Seedsmen's Association/Georgia Seedsmen's Association; J. Frank McGill "Up With Peanuts" Scholarship; Georgia Ass'n. of Conservation District Supervisors Ladies Auxiliary; Georgia Chapter of American Society of Agronomy; Frederick B. Smith Soil Science Scholarship; Georgia Ass'n. of Conservation District Supervisors- Scholarship.
