The UGA Agronomy Club is a student organization in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. The organization was formed:

  • To give students majoring in Crop Science, Environmental Soil Science,
    Turfgrass Management, and related disciplines a source of information other than classroom instruction
  • To promote the general interest in Agronomy and kindred subjects
  • To provide recreation and fraternal relationship for students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
  • To encourage cooperative efforts among students and faculty of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences *

To qualify for regular membership in the Agronomy Club, a candidate must be a student in the University of Georgia and have met the following requirements:

  • Any undergraduate student interested in Agronomy
  • Attendance at one regular meeting and signing of the roll
  • In order to maintain status as a regular member the student must attend at least 50% of the regular meetings

Faculty and graduate students may become members by signing the roll and attending regular meetings.
