Weed Science
Our faculty in Weed Science are engaged in research activities related to weeds and their impact on human activities. Applied research areas include weed management in the major agronomic and horticultural crops, turfgrasses, and forages found in Georgia as well as management of invasive weed species in the state. Basic research is conducted on herbicide fate in water and soils in the state, herbicide physiology, and herbicide resistance in weeds.
