Research, Teaching, and Extension Work

I am currently responsible for the statewide extension weed science program for peanuts, corn, soybeans, grain sorghum, and canola. My main responsibility is to provide county extension agents with current information about weed management in these commodities. This is accomplished through the development of training meetings, publications, slide presentations, one-on-one consultations, and trouble-shooting herbicide-related problems. I also conduct an applied research program that emphasizes the safe and cost-effective use of herbicides. For additional information about the various weed science programs in Georgia, please follow the link above.
