Research, Teaching, and Extension Work
I will be organizing continuing education classes in the health districts in the state, with the first priority to deliver training to the contractors, then secondly provide training for the Environmental Health Specialists. In addition to continuing education training, we will also be updating and enlarging the training facilities in Hazlehurst and Griffin. Our goal is to provide training experiences that help conduct business more productively, and help businesses provide more professional and appropriate services and equipment to the public. Providing a good (functioning and long-lasting) waste management system to the homeowner is the ultimate goal in all our efforts.
I view my role as being part of a huge team effort serving the people of Georgia while preserving our natural resources for the enjoyment of the generations beyond us.
