Teaching Requirements

To enhance employment opportunities, students should be exposed to a broad spectrum of educational experiences in the classroom, laboratory, and field. Ph.D. students are required to have a guided teaching experience (for example take CRSS 7990/9990, take an education course, or a combination thereof) at least during one semester, and M.S. students are encouraged to do so. The advisory committee will provide guidance for the teaching experience, evaluate it, and provide feedback to the student.
